Handcrafted dress made with traditional wet felting method.
This process involves taking loose wool fibers and rubbing them with soapy water until they mat together into a flat piece of fabric. Wet felting uses agitation and moist that helps to tangle tiny flakes of wool fiber. It is considered as the oldest felting method.

Made in South Ural, Russia at a family studio. Sisters Anna and Natalya had professional careers and after many years of making, opened their own studio. It’s focused on felted and linen costume. They both rase kids, paint and travel to archaeological expeditions to learn about the surrounding nature and land.
Material: 100% merino wool fibers, wool yarn and viscose threads
Care: hand wash in warm water (avoid hot temperatures) with gentle shampoo or pH neutral soap. Put it on and shape on a body, lay flat to dry. Felt can shrink or extend while wet, depending on your needs. Never put felted items in a dryer.
